"Timeless elegance in a relaxed setting in a manyatta (maasai traditional homes) deep in the heart of Maasailand, 2 hours drive from Nairobi. Beautiful views of the Kajiado plains and a stunning sunset as you wind down the day after a day of nyama choma. The farm owner roasts the meat while you enjoy the hot sun and explore the small farm house that houses chickens, goats, and cows. You can unwind by the massive bonfire pit in the middle of the property. The room was quite large. The bed frame was made of rock and was extremely comfortable, transporting you to the time of the flictstones with its luxurious linens. The bathroom featured nice fixtures, plush towels, and high-quality toiletries. The entire team, led by the owners, is very thoughtful and caring to ensure that you have a pleasant stay. I will undoubtedly visit again."

"A really fantastic room in a beautiful location. The room looked exactly like the pictures - beautiful classic thatched rotunda but with very comfortable bed, hot water, 24hr electricity etc. Location is beautiful and close enough to Nairobi for a great weekend trip, also a perfect stop on the way between Nairobi and Arusha. They even have their own farm so all the food is very fresh! You can book with confidence - this is a lodge with very high standards and everything is in good condition."

"I stayed at The Eden Resort for one night and the experience was amazing!!! What I loved most about the place was the "out of town" feel that was refreshing. The rooms are top notch with comfy beds and hot showers. The best meal was actually breakfast: Tumbukiza as a starter and then the usual. Courteous staff that go out of their way to make you feel at home is the icing on the cake! I will be visiting again soon with friends."
